MESH Engineering was contracted by an international automotive component supplier to assist in the design and install guarding on 74 presses in one of their facilities. Once design was complete MESH fabricated and installed the guards pictured above on the presses. Each press required light curtains, safety interlocks and safety relays all wired into the existing control system. Installation of the guards had to be completed with minimal machine downtime and production interference.
