Packaging and product transfer control of 5000 pounds per hour of   a frozen food product from the process area directly into packaging operations.   The infeed of the food product utilizes fastback conveyor systems controlled by photoelectric sensors for detecting product levels.   29 Allen-Bradley Powerflex drives are interfaced to a ControlLogix control system using ethernet communications.   The operators initiate the controls using two GE Touchscreen terminals at different areas of the production line.   An additional product line is controlled using an Allen-Bradley SLC 505   control system interfaced to   39 Toshiba AC drives communicating via profibus.
