Commutation Encoder Series Adds Line Driver Output

Tualatin, OR (July 7th, 2011) - CUI Inc announced a new addition to its high resolution, low-cost AMT encoder line with the AMT303LD series. The encoder generates standard U/V/W commutation signals for vectoring current to brushless motors. Resolution can be set through the AMT303 Demo Kit. Commutation output can accommodate brushless motors with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 20 pole pairs, and is also selectable via the AMT303LD Demo Board. The AMT303LD offers complimentary incremental A/A, B/B, and Z/Z channels for various servo positioning and startup sequences. Additional options include nine mounting patterns and ten bore sizes, creating a flexible platform that is able to accommodate many industry standard motors. Compact 9 Mm Mechanical Encoder Now Available

Tualatin, OR (April 27th, 2011) - CUI Inc announces a compact 9 mm addition to their ACZ series of flexible mechanical encoders. The 2-bit quadrature ACZ09 series encoder can be configured into over 1,000 different versions. The encoders have a rotational life of 30,000 cycles and are rugged, utilizing metal material where similar models would use plastic. This series is ideal in applications for audio, aircraft, medical, and test equipment. Options for the ACZ09 series include detent, a push button, vertical or right angle mounting, and numerous shaft configurations. Resolutions available include 10, 15, and 20 PPR.
