Sales Engineers (Inside and Outside needed): * Engineering or similar degree required. * Generate sales by developing and preparing detailed pricing proposals, including product requirements and assistance to convert brands for key projects and customers. * Consult and visit with customers on-site to understand applications and evaluate their needs. * Define the scope of the project and determine the technical requirements. * Present hardware and software solutions and advise customers of their benefits, advantages, quality, and capabilities. * Strong Emphasis on experience working with System Integrators * Investigate and propose alternative solutions to customer needs and problems. * Provide follow-up consultations as needed to promote continued growth of sales territory. * Requirements: · 2-5 years successful experience prospecting, specifying, and selling Industrial Automation products including Sensors/PLCs/Industrial Communication/Motion Control/Vision Systems/Industrial Safety/etc · Experience in Industrial Manufacturing is preferred · Demonstrable experience prospecting end users, system integrators, and OEM’s to specify new products, as well as experience growing sales in underdeveloped territory. · Must be comfortable talking and meeting with all levels of an organization, from maintenance to upper management personnel. · Must be able to understand and troubleshoot product applications and provide support to customers. · Competitive, self motivated, and driven to succeed. · Committed to meeting and surpassing sales goals · Able to work independently with limited direct management. · Must have car and be proficient in English and Spanish
