Uson is the premier provider of leak test systems to auto, medical, and industrial companies. We manufacture engineered systems for use on other businesses\' assembly lines as a quality control device. Our systems consist of electrical and pneumatic components. We are seeking Technicians for assembly, testing, and repair. Units are assembled based on a schematic drawing, and taken through various troubleshooting procedures. Candidates with experience in electro-mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic assembly/troubleshooting are best suited for this position. The ideal candidate should be able to troubleshoot the electronics down to the component level, and have a strong understanding of circuit boards and corresponding parts. Specific job duties include the following: Assemble electrical and electronic systems according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Modify electrical parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations. Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results. Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems. Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems. Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations. Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after construction. The ideal candidate will have completed an Associates in Applied Science (AAS) degree, a certificate program in electronics, or equivalent.
