Free UV Sensor Application Handbook

Cleveland, OH (October 12th, 2008) - The UVX 300 luminescence sensor was designed to effectively detect UV luminescent materials and markers. The UV light source in the UVX 300 is directed towards a target and the visible light is reflected from the target back to the UVX300. Since the UV luminescent materials and inks are invisible under a normal light spectrum it is possible to mark products and parts without affecting their appearance. Some materials such as wood, grease and glue may contain UV luminescent materials naturally and in other cases the UV pigment may be added to the marking process. The UVX 300 is used in many industrial applications to sense the following: Grease Oil Glue Labels Epoxies UV ink Varnish Wood Textiles UV Crayons Paper Adhesive Although some applications may be similar to color or contrast sensing the UVX 300 offers unmatched detection of UV florescent materials. There are also applicat...

Free Color Verification Guide

Cleveland, OH (September 23rd, 2008) - Verify the presence of targets that can be differentiated by color, faster and with greater control. A ColorMax-1000™ color sensor lets your machine see up to 15 colors and RGB intensity. What's more, innovative technology improves sensitivity and speed, so you can maximize the pace of manufacturing. Recognizes 15 colors. Use fewer sensors. No need to reprogram when you change setups. Traditional color sensors output only a "match/no match" condition, but the ColorMax™-1000 also outputs the analog values for each RGB reading. Now machines and operators can see not just which color, but how much color - enabling tighter control. 2 to 5 times faster sample speed - for fast manufacturing. The only color sensor in an M30 package. Highest resolution and repeatability specs in the industry. Sophisticated algorithms ignore luster PC-based configuration; lock out unauthorized changes

Miniature Vehicle Detector

Cleveland, OH (August 21st, 2008) - EMX Industries Inc Cleveland Ohio introduced new miniature vehicle detector for gates, industrial overhead door and parking barriers. The Ultra II D-TEK was designed to be a more compact, energy efficient, cost effective and reliable detector that is easier to install and setup. Sensitivity selection is simplified by the ULTRAMETER™ display that indicates the appropriate sensitivity setting to detect the vehicle positioned on the loop. The 10 sensitivity settings allow for finer adjustment of the detection level, while the 4 frequency settings provide greater flexibility in preventing crosstalk in multi-loop applications.
