Rugged Qterm Hmis Now Abs Classified For Marine Applications

Salt Lake City, Utah (December 13th, 2012) - SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH. 28 November 2012 – Beijer Electronics, a designer and manufacturer of powerful human machine interface (HMI) products, is pleased to announce the rugged 7" QTERM-A7 and 12" QTERM-A12 human machine interface terminals are now classified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for marine applications. ABS is a leading marine and offshore classification society that promotes safety standards for the design, construction and operational maintenance of marine equipment. Known for being built for demanding environments, the QTERM-A7 and QTERM-A12 are also Class I Div 2 certified for hazardous conditions.
