Airex Corporation designs and manufactures high precision, electro-mechanical components for medical, electronic, and aerospace applications. Airex offers a standard line of linear motors and slides, as well as custom designs developed in over 50 years of advancing electromagnetic technology.
Assemblies include custom-wound coils, low cogging linear & rotary motors, synchros, spin motors, voice coil actuators, spherical actuators, magnetic bearings, and fixed & rotary transformers. Airex has unique design & manufacturing capabilities that help to reduce development time while improving unit cost and actuator performance. Airex has patented robotic winding technology that incorporates proprietary techniques to assure precise wire positioning and uniform wire tension over repeated production runs. Design services include Parametric models, FEA, 3D Models, component prototyping, performance verification, and environmental testing. Our model shop can develop prototype and production tooling as well as automated robotic inspection and assembly machines. Airex has ISO 9001:2008 Quality systems that are also approved to a number of military standards. Many Airex components are RoHS compatible and CE labelled for rapid acceptance in international markets.
