The Simple Positioning Motor For Your Application
SIMODRIVE POSMO A 75W/300W (positioning motor) is the first member of a whole new family of drive/motor combinations that allow a completely decentralized approach for motion control tasks.
Lower engineering cost can be achieved through distributed drive architecture. Production time can be improved due to the short set-up times and automated process variable settings through intelligent movement control.
SIMODRIVE POSMO A is an intelligent positioning motor and is a participant on a PROFIBUS-DP distributed network. It comprises integral converter power section, motor control, positioning control and program memory.
The drive power is provided by a 24V/48V DC supply which is standard for many applications. The motor can be equipped with an optional stepped planet gearing from a gear building block.
