Linear Unit KRF has been developed as a complete solution with a high load-to-size ratio. Open profile grooves on three sides ensure that the support profile is flexible and that designers can easily extend the system. To help lower costs, the Linear Unit is supplied fully assembled and can be installed and adjusted with minimum effort.
Measuring just 40 mm wide, the aluminium support profile incorporates four high-strength steel tracks, thus eliminating the need to use a separate guide for the carriage. Using these two different materials brings a number of benefits. For example, the steel tracks are particularly wear-resistant and are rigidly connected to the support profile.
item has also designed an especially compact sliding carriage to match the support profile of Linear Unit KRF. It uses load-carrying castors in a tried-and-tested, and yet rarely used design principle.
