About Brent
Brent Stromwall is Vice President of Business Development and a major shareholder of Polytron, Inc., an international engineering and integration firm headquartered in Duluth, GA. He is a Professional Engineer with more than 20 years experience with Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products Packaging, Process, and Material Handling Systems.
Brent grew up in Adams Basin, a suburb of Rochester, NY, where his father (Robert) and mother (Sally) relocated from Maine. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Binghamton, a SUNY school, where he was inducted into the Tau Beta Pi society.
After traveling to Sweden to learn of his heritage and visit his extended family, Brent began his career at Polytron in 1989 with an assignment in Rochester, New York. He then relocated to Atlanta, GA. During his tenure at Polytron, Brent practiced electrical engineering and earned his Professional Engineering license and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He served as a Project Manager with overall responsibility for all disciplines in the implementation of projects for multi-national clients. His Engineering expertise includes electrical power distribution, automation and information systems, concept and design development, and implementation. His Project Management expertise includes all phases of the project engineering and management process, including contract development, administration, and financial and schedule management. Brent now serves as a managing partner with multiple responsibilities that include Strategic Initiatives, Marketing and Sales for the organization.
Brent and his wife, LeAnne, have a daughter and son, Sawyer and Hudson, and currently reside in Sugar Hill, GA, where LeAnne home schools both of their children. The family enjoys traveling together and working on building their vacation home at their property in north Georgia. Brent and his family attend and serve through their local church, Browns Bridge Community Church. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Iron Sharpening Iron, a ministry for Christian, small-business owners, and Metro Atlanta Youth For Christ.
