National Premium Ground Beef Processor Chooses Plex Online As Erp Software Solution
Jensen Meats views the fully integrated SaaS-based solution as its only real choice
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 11, 2010 -- Plex Systems, Inc., provider of Plex Online, the No. 1 rated SaaS manufacturing ERP software, today announced that Jensen Meats has selected Plex Online as its manufacturing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solution.
Based in Southern California, Jensen Meats is a national processor of quality ground beef products for the food service distribution, wholesale/retail and school markets with customers such as Checker’s/Rally’s and Sam’s Club. The company is recognized by industry experts for its patented processing techniques that ensure its products meet the industry’s highest safety and quality standards.
Jensen Meats began a search earlier this year for an ERP system as a replacement and improvement to three aging and obsolete production systems.

The system will be implemented in two phases. Phase One is targeted to launch by January 2011, and will include accounting, inventory, purchasing, sales, shipping, and security functions. Phase Two will include engineering, maintenance, quality, scheduling, HR, and more; it will launch early in third quarter 2011.
