Electrical Cad Software Updates With More And Easier To Use Symbols.

Kuala Lumpur, (Friday, 30th March 2012) - Radica Software SB, the company that gave us the easy to use Electrical CAD Software on Microsoft Visio has announced the release of a set of single line symbols that let electrical engineers draw simple single line diagrams and be able to generate reports quickly.

These symbols are extremely flexible and can be used on both metric and imperial units. “The Electra engine will detect the units used and be able to automatically adjust and resize the symbols on the fly”, said Thomas Yip, the CEO of Radica Software. “In fact, all our symbols, including user made symbols and circuits, will be able to automatically resize themselves, and users no longer have to draw multiple versions, resulting in great time savings”, he added.

Since releasing its electrical schematic software called “Electra E6” about 15 months ago, the software has seen tremendous response and acceptance, counting major high technology companies among its customers. Accordingly, Radica Software has been releasing updates and new features since its launch and is now at version R216. “We feel that we should reward our loyal users, so they get free updates and enjoy these new features immediately, rather than hoarding them”, adds Thomas Yip.

For many companies, the cost effective creation and distribution of technical drawings is an important component in their plans to become more productive and competitive. The ability to efficiently create and manage technical drawings can have a direct impact to a company's bottom line. While many have implemented new generations of business software applications, electrical drawing software has often lagged behind.

According to Radica Software, this is where their product "Electra E6" excels. The software, which work on top of Microsoft Visio, is extremely easy to use and is familiar to all Microsoft Office users. It allows electrical engineers to complete their designs up to 5 times faster compared to other non electrical software and easily share these drawings throughout their organization.
