Cas Bacnet Explorer Major Update
Chipkin Automation System is releasing a major new version of the CAS BACnet Explorer (2.02aA) that dramatically improves the performance of the MSTP network as well as resolving many other bugs.
When one purchases the explorer, the user can use the application forever but he/she can only get the latest version for a limited amount of time. 1 year of updates is given by default. That period can be extended and most customers choose to extend the period for another year for a nominal payment. Normally if the user wants to use a new version and the upgrade period has expired, he/she would need to purchase the application again. CAS is offering all users a chance to 'Get the latest version and restart your upgrade period'.
If the user requests an update to his or her license, CAS will allocate a new 2-year service agreement to the specific account. At the very least the service period can be extended by resetting the start date to today.
If the user continues using the older version that is working on his or her laptop then there is nothing to do.
