Regardless of industry or application, if mobility is required for the onsite control of machines and systems, SIMATIC Mobile Panels are the answer, e.g. for larger production systems, complex or hard to access machines, long materials handling or conveyor systems.

The new mobile operator device with fully graphical 5.7 inch touchscreen display and 14 membrane keys is available in six versions. Three are designed for use on PROFIBUS and three for PROFINET. Through its fast startup time and connection point detection - machine-specific HMI authorizations or action are executed depending on the connection point - the Mobile Panel 177 is particularly suitable for applications requiring direct visual contact with the process.
The connection boxes and cables of the previous model can also be utilized for the PROFIBUS versions of the new Mobile Panel. The connection point detection, however, is only possible with the new connection boxes.

Like its predecessor, the Mobile Panel 177 impresses with its ergonomics, the perfected safety concept and the large number of configuration possibilities.
