If you are looking to learn, or take a refresher in, the fundamentals of IEEE 802.11 Wireless networking as it pertains to the Industrial Control and Automation industries, you don't want to miss this course.
Prerequisites:
A basic knowledge of Ethernet Networking, IP Protocols and IP addressing, or has completed The Proud Company's “Ethernet 101” training course (offered Wednesday, July 11th).
Upon completion of this course, you will acquire a more in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of IEEE 802.11 a,b,g,n “Wi-Fi” wireless networking.
Students will also learn the basics of:
* RF propagation
* Antennas
* Roaming
* Site surveys
In addition, the course will provide an overview of other wireless technologies and a "hands on" lab.
