If you are looking to learn, or take a refresher in, the fundamentals of IEEE 802.11 Wireless networking as it pertains to the Industrial Control and Automation industries, you don't want to miss this class.
**Prerequisites**
A basic knowledge of Ethernet networking, IP Protocol and IP addressing, or completion of The Proud Company's 'Industrial Ethernet' Training Class (offered Wednesday, July 24th).
Upon completion of the course, you will acquire a more in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of IEEE 802.11 a.b.g.n "Wi-Fi" wireless networking.
Students will also learn the basics of:
- RF propagation
- Antennas
- Roaming
- Site Surveys
In addition, the class will provide an overview of other wireless technologies and a "hands-on" lab. It is preferred that students bring his or her laptop to participate in the lab.
The cost of this class is $150, but upon completion each attendee will receive a FREE Moxa EDS-205 switch (a $99 value!)
