If you are looking to learn, or take a refresher in, the fundamentals of Ethernet networking as it pertains to the Industrial Control and Automation industries, this is the class for you.
Upon completion of the course, you will acquire a more in-depth understanding of the following:
- How the Ethernet and IP protocols manage/transport data
- Ethernet cabling
- Ethernet (hubs, switches, and routers)
- Power-over-Ethernet
- When and where to use a managed switch
The class also includes an overview of the latest IP equipment and a "hands-on" lab. It is preferred that students bring his or her laptop to participate in the lab.
The cost of this class is $150, but upon completion each attendee will receive a FREE Moxa EDS-205 switch (a $99 value!)
CASH FOR HUBS:
We will be offering a "Cash for Hubs" promotion during the class. Students who bring, and hand over, a working hub to be destroyed will be given $50 off any managed switch, good for up to 30 days after the class.
